Parenting Helpline • 805-456-1234 • M-F: 1-4pm W: 5-8pm. Confidential, free-of-charge helpline parents can call for support and expert advice including referrals to treatment services. CADA offers Prevention, Education, & Treatment of Substance Use Disorders for youth and families. Resources and support are available for children, adolescents, parents, and families through counseling, therapy, and education.

We offer long-term therapy, brief therapy, group therapy, psychological assessments,
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Social Anxiety and Solution-Focused Single Session therapy.

Camino a Casa treats adolescents (ages 9-17) challenged with emotional dysregulation including: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, self-harm behaviors, trauma, PTSD, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and psychiatric hospitalization. Additionally, Camino a Casa offers psychological and academic assessments for youth (ages 3-21 years).

Education and prevention topics related to health and wellbeing including: Sexual and reproductive health curriculum; fitness and nutrition workshops and coaching; and, parent/adult education related to communication, healthy/unhealthy relationships, LGBTQ inclusion and safe environments, and healthy living.

Healthy families. Successful children. Strong community. It takes a village to raise a child, and the Carpinteria Children’s Project aims to coordinate the efforts in the village so that all families and children are healthy and successful. We are the coordinating hub of the Thrive Carpinteria Partner Network, a formal partnership of early childhood education and social services providers who serve families as a team. Even with the network, there are some gaps in services in Carpinteria, and so the Carpinteria Children’s Project provides direct services in early childhood education and family support. When other gaps in available services arise, we reach out to other resources in the county to fill them.

The Carpinteria Unified School District, in partnership with the community and parents, believes that all students can learn and are capable of being successful in our diverse society. We are committed to providing a quality educational program in a caring, positive environment which promotes self-esteem and mutual respect. CUSD provides comprehensive child and adolescent mental health services that are child and family centered, culturally sensitive, and strengths based. Services are offered at schools and in the community to ensure greatest access.

Substance use and mental health treatment to help women and their families recover from addiction by providing evidence-based treatment services while building community, instilling self-determination, and empowering them with educational opportunities and financial literacy.

CenCal Health is the Medi-Cal Managed Care Health Plan for Santa Barbara County's low income residents. Medi-Cal ensures that children and adults with limited income and resources can receive medical, mental, and behavioral health services at little or no cost. CenCal HEALTH members have access to services addressing mild to moderate mental health challenges and substance use.

CFRS is a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) under the umbrella of the Santa Barbara County Education Office. We have three programs within our department:

Welcome Every Baby/Family Connects (WEB/FC) is an evidenced-based community-wide nurse home visitation program for parents of newborns and is inclusive of all income and socioeconomic levels. The visits assess maternal/newborn health and psychosocial status, provide parent education, and lactation support and a warm handoff to community services.

Health Linkages provides dental screening, oral health education and fluoride varnishes to low-income children in targeted subsidized preschool, childcare and elementary school programs in Santa Barbara County. The orthodontia program also provides braces for middle school youth in specific communities and schools.
Health screenings and social support services are offered to early childhood education and care programs. Access to health care is made available to community members of all ages through Medi-Cal enrollment and health navigation assistance.

Santa Barbara County Promotores Network operates under the CFRS department by providing staffing and infrastructure support to connect promotores with agencies and programs designed to support and advocate for healthy communities through outreach, education, policy change and linking resources. They are Spanish speaking members of the Latinx community who understand and respect the traditional beliefs of their community and help agencies integrate these cultural beliefs in their programs and services.

Cottage Health is a not-for-profit hospital system that includes Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, Cottage Children's Medical Center, Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital, Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital and Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital, Urgent Care Centers and Cottage Virtual Care - Virtual Visits.

Crestwood’s Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) Programs provide a voluntary, short-term safe place to land for guests experiencing a psychiatric crisis.
