CALM utilizes a variety of trauma-informed, evidence-based programs and services that effectively treat child abuse and promote healing, as well as programs successful in preventing childhood trauma through family strengthening and support. Services are provided to all in both Spanish and English, at a sliding scale or free of charge if needed; no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
CALM's mission is to utilize a variety of trauma-informed, evidence-based services that effectively treat children and families who have experienced trauma such as abuse, neglect, or violence, and programs that prevent trauma through family strengthening and support. Services are provided to all in both Spanish and English, and no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
CALM services are divided into three departments:
1) Early childhood prevention and intervention, including community collaborations (prenatal to 9 years old)
2) Childhood trauma treatment (ages 10-18)
3) Intensive family services - Whatever it Takes (WIT), BeWell referrals - higher level of intervention
