Just Communities envisions and equitable and inclusive Central Coast where all people are connected, respected, and valued. We advance justice by building leadership, fostering change, and dismantling all forms of prejudice, discrimination, and oppression. Just communities CAN DO! Program supports and amplifies youth efforts in creating real and meaningful change for social justice through their ideas and visions; to increase the education and awareness of youth leaders and their peers; and to prepare members to become effective youth and civic leaders and facilitators in their schools, community, and other Just Communities programs. Additionally, Just Communities provides Family Programs which serve to address topics such as Implicit Bias, Equitable & Effective Education, Langauge Justice, and Culturally Relevant Curriculum while offering spaces for families to be heard, respected, and valued.
