Family Counseling and Trauma Healing Center (FCTHC) is dedicated to providing superior and holistic trauma disorder treatment.
Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are inclusive community hubs for family wellbeing, children’s healthy growth and development, civic engagement, and community transformation.
Family Service Agency of Santa Barbara County’s transformative programs provide underserved youth and families with solutions to immediate needs, along with essential tools for increased long term self-sufficiency and empowerment. We are committed to providing mental health services where they are needed most: in the community. Eighty percent of our services are delivered on school campuses, at community centers and in clients’ homes. During the pandemic, we have transitioned to providing the majority of our services via Telehealth. Our programs combine clinical expertise, bilingual and bicultural staff, and close collaboration with other nonprofit, educational and government organizations. Services are provided free or on a sliding-fee scale with no one denied access because of an inability to pay.
For the past 45+ years, FTI has provided affordable counseling on a sliding scale fee basis for individual, couples, families, and children in Santa Barbara County. Our mission is to make families of all incomes, ethnic backgrounds, and sizes, safe, healthy and loving environments for children, and to teach adults skills of communication and conflict resolution to make their relationships more productive and satisfying.
Fighting Back Santa Maria Valley's mission is: "To partner with members of the community to achieve resiliency against substance use, reductions in violence, and promote a healthy and safe environment for our youth and families." We do this by establishing relationships not only with the youth and families we work with but also all our community stakeholders.
FirstGen_Resilience empowers first-generation college-bound students prepare for college (high school students) and first-generation college students successfully navigate higher education and prepare for life after college. Dr. Ana Guerrero provides guidance, inspiration, and resources using a holistic, culturally relevant approach in English and Spanish.
Freedom 4 Youth uplifts and empowers youth that are involved in or impacted by the criminal legal system through healing-centered, restorative, and youth-led solutions. Through legal advocacy, diversion, culturally responsive programs, and case management support, we disrupt cycles of criminalization and address the root cause of substance use—creating real pathways to accountability, healing, long-term stability, and transformative systems change.
Full Spectrum Recovery and Counseling is an outpatient treatment clinic known for our cutting-edge and effective approach to treating substance use and behavioral addictions. Our staff also specializes in coaching for life enhancement as well as the treatment of mental health issues.
Fusion Academy is a fully accredited middle and high school with a specialized focus on Social-Emotional Learning and Academic Mastery. Students experience personalized instruction through our 1:1 classroom model. Students can enroll full time, part-time, take classes for credit, or tutoring. Our homework cafe is a space for students to thrive socially, while receiving support on study skills and executive functioning. We also offer a flexible curriculum including 1:1, asynchronous learning, and small group projects.
In service to community, Future Leaders of America provides high school youth with leadership training, educational experiences, and promotes the personal development of youth and families, for the purpose of fostering a greater awareness and participation in responsible leadership in a global and democratic society.
Gateway Educational Services provides assessment-based tutoring for K-12 students, college planning, and educational summer camps.
Girls Inc. of Carpinteria offers after school enrichment programs, summer day camps, college bound programs in STEM, empowerment workshops, and programming on literacy and healthy sexuality with Carpinteria Unified School District.
Through after-school and summer enrichment programs serving girls in grades TK-12, the Girls Inc. Experience equips girls and teens to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent.
Each school offers extensive academic support and if needed school-based counseling services. Please contact your teacher or principal or call the main office for questions. There are licensed school psychologists, community liaisons, nurses, school social worker as well as other specialists available.
Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties offers no-cost programs designed to help youth gain the skills and training needed to build a successful future.
For youth between the ages of 15 1/2 and 18 who have dropped out of high school, or are at-risk of dropping out, we offer a highly-structured environment that promotes leadership, cooperation, and academic skills, while building self-esteem, pride, and confidence.
The Guadalupe Union School District will provide each student with the academic, social, and technological skills that will prepare them for a successful high school experience.

Hope Counseling Center is a non-profit organization staffed by professionally trained and licensed therapists in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Psychology. We are dedicated to the values of love, integrity, respect, acceptance and growth. We combine professional and clinical competence with faith-based wisdom, warmth and compassion to bring hope and healing to the many adults, children, couples, and families we serve.
Hope School District serves students in TK through 6th grade at three schools, Hope Elementary, Vieja Valley Elementary, and Monte Vista Elementary. Students in our district are offered a variety of wellness resources and support.
The Hosford Counseling and Psychological Services Clinic at UCSB provides low-cost psychotherapy, counseling, and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Our mission is to care for anyone experiencing the impact of serious illness or grieving the death of a loved one. We offer individual GRIEF COUNSELING for adults and children, support groups and care management services, free of charge. Hablamos español. At House of Pride and Equality are a committed and dedicated group that encourages Santa Maria to strive for equity and equality for all in the LGBTQ+ Community through grassroots collective efforts pushing LatinX narratives to the forefront.
The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara (HACSB) supports youth participants by providing a variety of free or low-cost resources, including academic support and enrichment activities for HACSB youth.
