Family Care Network, Inc. (FCNI) is a Community-Based Organization, serving San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties through multiple programs designed to strengthen and preserve birth, fostering, and adoptive families and individuals impacted by trauma related to abuse, neglect, homelessness, chronic poverty and/or unmet mental health needs. Programs are delivered in partnership with public and private agencies and the community.
Family Counseling and Trauma Healing Center (FCTHC) is dedicated to providing superior and holistic trauma disorder treatment.
Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are inclusive community hubs for family wellbeing, children’s healthy growth and development, civic engagement, and community transformation.
Family Service Agency of Santa Barbara County’s transformative programs provide underserved youth and families with solutions to immediate needs, along with essential tools for increased long term self-sufficiency and empowerment. We are committed to providing mental health services where they are needed most: in the community. Eighty percent of our services are delivered on school campuses, at community centers and in clients’ homes. During the pandemic, we have transitioned to providing the majority of our services via Telehealth. Our programs combine clinical expertise, bilingual and bicultural staff, and close collaboration with other nonprofit, educational and government organizations. Services are provided free or on a sliding-fee scale with no one denied access because of an inability to pay.
For the past 30+ years, FTI has provided affordable counseling on a sliding scale fee basis for individual, couples, families, and children in Santa Barbara County. Our mission is to make families of all incomes, ethnic backgrounds, and sizes, safe, healthy and loving environments for children, and to teach adults skills of communication and conflict resolution to make their relationships more productive and satisfying.
Fighting Back Santa Maria Valley's mission is: "To partner with members of the community to achieve resiliency against substance use, reductions in violence, and promote a healthy and safe environment for our youth and families." We do this by establishing relationships not only with the youth and families we work with but also all our community stakeholders.
