New Beginnings Counseling Center

New Beginnings Counseling Center offers youth, individual, couples, groups, and family counseling in both English and Spanish. Services are available via telehealth and in-person in our center in downtown Santa Barbara. We can provide therapy to all ages, including elementary school-aged children. We also organize groups for youth. Our current wait time is typically one week. We provide low-cost counseling services on a sliding scale and turns nobody away due to an inability to pay. We can help you explore life transitions, relationship issues, and a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, abuse, compulsive behaviors, substance use, job loss and stress, aging, isolation, and anger management. Youth and Family Services (YMCA) operates programs [Noah' Anchorage, St. George Youth Center, My Home] that provide a continuum of care to underserved at-risk youth, young adults and families experiencing homelessness, neglect, and abuse in the greater Santa Barbara area. Youth, young adults, and families in high-risk environments that participate in our services experience greater safety and well-being while they work toward the future. Our staff work alongside those in need to provide case management, education, life skills coaching, counseling and much more all free of charge.
