The Center is Northern Santa Barbara County’s primary crisis support agency for victims of sexual violence, domestic and child abuse, and human trafficking. We offer presentations, education and training, and online resources.
The Center staff and volunteers are trained specifically on Trauma-Informed Care. The Center has an understanding and belief that everyone’s trauma and symptoms are in the context of their life experiences, history, culture, and society.
Crisis Intervention: 24/7 assistance via the hotline for individuals in crisis. Services include advocacy and accompaniment when reporting any form of sexual abuse. Counseling services and Support groups available.

Education/Prevention Programs: Programs available on topics to include sexual assault, child abuse, human trafficking, dating violence, Mandated Reporter Training, sexual harassment, teen dating violence, and many others. ChildSAFE, the agency's largest educational program is available to all elementary, middle, and high schools in northern and mid Santa Barbara county. The Good Touch/Bad Touch/ Confusing Touch Puppet show is also available for pre-schoolers in our service area.
