Learn About Volunteer & Internship Opportunities in Santa Barbara County
Join YouthWells’ Youth Advocacy Board for a free virtual workshop designed to help students explore meaningful volunteer, internship, and leadership opportunities across Santa Barbara County.
Students and families will hear directly from 20+ local nonprofit organizations about how to get involved, earn community service hours, build real-world skills, and make a positive impact in their community. Whether you are exploring future career interests or looking for ways to give back, this session will help students identify opportunities aligned with their values and goals.
Focus areas include:
• Animals
• Arts & culture
• Education
• Environment & science
• Homelessness services
• Camps & youth programs
• Supporting older adults
Volunteering is more than checking a box; it supports mental well-being by helping young people manage stress, build confidence, and feel connected.
Open to youth ages 10–21 and parents.
