Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network (SBTAN) offers support groups for transgender adults, teens, and families of trans youth, trans affirming trainings for organizations and schools, and local events, such as the county's first-ever recognized celebration of Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV)
SBTAN offers monthly family support groups led by parents of trans children of all ages to provide a safe space to share the challenges and joys of the coming-out process. Groups meet 1st Wednesday of each month. If you are interested in attending a support group meeting, or to learn more about how SBTAN can support parents and families, please contact: Kathy@sbtan.org.
