The Santa Barbara Alliance for Community Transformation (SB ACT) collaborates WITH and FOR the marginalized populations of Santa Barbara, to addresses issues from homelessness to trafficking to under-resourced neighborhoods, while actively working for the betterment of their physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental health needs.

We believe all people have something to contribute. In a world with systemic injustices; We partner with marginalized populations, from friends without homes to families without access to healthcare to our immigrant neighbors, to empower the people and change the systems. We aim to give a voice to the voiceless.

OUR SERVICES:

-The Faro Center: The FARO Center provides people experiencing homelessness a safe, dignified, indoor location to go during daytime hours, and serves as a one-stop-shop for comprehensive services.

  • Case Management, Housing Navigation, Workforce Development, Document Readiness, Healthcare, Behavioral Health Support, Access to Computers.
  • Address: 621 Chapala Street, 1st Floor, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
  • Hours: Mon - Fri 9am-12pm (Appointment Needed)
