IN-PERSON Facilitator Training

Trainings are FREE. Associates, Trainees, Licensed Therapists, and those with lived experience in Santa Barbara County are invited to attend.
You will get the opportunity to develop…
- your facilitator style
- a structure that is consistent and creates a safe space for participants
- deeper connections with peers
- ways to empower participants with tools and find a balance between educating and providing support
- empowerment to lead a support group regardless of the audience or theme of the group.
This training is In-Person to practice the above skills and will emphasize breaking out into smaller groups.
For those wanting to co-lead YouthWell support groups, this will be an opportunity to connect with leads and learn their styles so that you are more comfortable in your role. We want facilitators to empower group participants through education, support, and by providing tools that improve communication, active listening, and self care.
