Offering evidence-based youth mental health care and assessments, in addition to resources and tools for teens and parents.
Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health offers support and tools to teens and parents looking for treatment. We are currently providing in-person care for youth and their families through our Treatment Center, Parent Center, and Teen Center.
Treatment Center:
CCAMH offers evidence-based youth mental health treatment on a sliding scale ($50 - $225 per session). In-person treatment is offered in San Luis Obispo and via Telehealth for families unable to attend in person. We will do a complete assessment to determine the best course of treatment and use evidence-based treatments that show the most promise for treating the specific condition your child or teen may be suffering.
Parent Center:
You can find training and resources to help you support your child before, during, and after treatment. You can talk with a youth mental health expert in monthly Parent Drop-in Sessions, attend in-person or virtual support groups, and build listening and support skills by getting trained and certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
Teen Center and First Gen Teen Center:
As a Teen Advisory Board member, you can share your perspective and make recommendations to the Center's Board of Directors about how to address the youth mental health crisis. The Teen Advisory Board is a great way to actively engage in promoting mental health and providing support to your friends and classmates.
