The Koegel Autism Center Assessment Clinic offers a range of diagnostic, developmental, and psychological assessment services for individuals of all ages, from early childhood through adulthood.

● Adult Support Services: A 1-hour per week behavioral skills program to support autistic adults to improve their social skills and make social connections, improve time management and organizational skills, and build independent living skills to promote independence, create opportunities, and maximize quality of life.
● Research Initiatives: In addition to our clinical service offerings, many of our current research projects provide opportunities for socialization or therapeutic support. Please visit our website for current projects.

Psychological evaluation services will now be offered using a combination of in-person and online assessments.

Current Autism-Focused Assessment Options:

Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment

This comprehensive assessment is carried out over the course of two days.

It includes:

● A review of the individual’s developmental history and relevant records
● Two structured parent/caregiver interviews
● All protocol administrations (tailored to the needs of the client and may include cognitive, diagnostic, adaptive skill, language, behavioral, neuropsych, and/or personality measures)
● A 1-hour feedback session and,
● A 20-25 page written report with recommendations

Standard Diagnostic Assessment

For individuals who do not require a comprehensive assessment, we offer a standard psychological assessment conducted by doctoral student clinicians under the supervision of a licensed psychologist in clinical psychology. This abbreviated assessment is an option for individuals and families seeking diagnostic clarification and who do not require the same comprehensive assessment battery as the two-day evaluation.

It includes:

● A review of the individual’s developmental history and relevant records
● One structured parent/caregiver interview
● All protocol administrations (cognitive testing, behavioral and personality measures, and autism-specific testing)
● A 1-hour feedback session and,
● A 15-20 page written report with recommendations

Core Diagnostic Assessment

Finally, the Core assessment is only available to adults (18 years +).

It includes:

● All protocol administrations (cognitive testing, self-report questionnaires,
and autism-specific testing)
● A 1-hour feedback session and,
● A 10-15 page written report with recommendations
