VIRTUAL Psychiatric Grand Rounds – Cottage Health
Cottage Health Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine is hosting their monthly virtual Psychiatric Grand Rounds. This month will focus on Recognizing and Responding to Sexual Abuse and Human Trafficking: A Multidisciplinary Approach in Santa Barbara County.
This presentation will provide healthcare and behavioral health professionals with an overview of sexual abuse and human trafficking, with emphasis on recognition and appropriate response within the healthcare setting.
Participants may expect: to be able to identify at least three clinical, behavioral, or contextual indicators that may warrant further assessment, distinguish between appropriate clinical information-gathering and investigative interviewing, and describe at least four components of SB County’s multidisciplinary response to sexual abuse and human trafficking.
