Conversion Practices in North America – PFLAG
Hear from the invited speaker Lucas W. Wilson, PhD. author of “Shame-Sex Attraction: Survivors’ Stories of Conversion Therapy”. Lucas, a survivor of conversion therapy, will discuss its ongoing prevalence in North America and dispel the myth that it’s outdated, highlighting how conversion practitioners aim to eradicate LGBTQ+ communities world wide and the profound impact on individuals and communities. We will have time for education, sharing and support. Registration for participation is required each month, and must be done at or before 6 p.m. on the day of the gathering. We hope to see you there!
