COMMUNITY EVENT: “What Were You Wearing?” Exhibit

April 2 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

North County Rape Crisis and Child Protection Center presents the “What Were You Wearing?” exhibit in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Please join us to recognize and celebrate the strength and resiliency of survivors of sexual assault and abuse through visual display, powerful testimonies, and community art.

This exhibit is an international survivor art installation that fights back against rape myths by displaying recreations of the clothing survivors were wearing when they were assaulted, showing that someone’s clothing does not equate to their consent. This display includes items contributed from Lompoc and VSFB community survivors.

  • WHERE: Centennial Park, 119 East Cypress, Lompoc
