More Than Conquerors Surf is hosting a surf event for kids and families to participate in! There is currently space for participants to register and a need for volunteers as well. More Than Conquerors offers the ultimate surf experience to foster youth, adoptive and kinship families, and children affected by human trafficking by hosting monthly surf events at which the kids get to enjoy a carefree day at the beach surrounded by people who love them. These events consist of an overview of the basics of surfing, ocean stewardship, equipment knowledge, water safety, and surf etiquette, followed by in-water instruction. Events typically last for 3 hours with a lunch break in between.
