Daniel Bryant Youth & Family Treatment- A safe, effective outpatient treatment for youth struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues. Programs can range from eight weeks to six months depending on the severity of the teen’s use. Medi-Cal, private insurance, and scholarships available. We accept all referral sources. Offices in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, & Lompoc.
Youth Diversion Program (YDP)- Youth and their parent(s) are referred to the Youth Diversion Program by a school administrator, law enforcement, or the probation department for offenses that qualify for a restorative justice approach, instead of being referred to the juvenile justice system or receiving traditional school disciplinary consequences. Participants work with a Case Manager to discuss the program, fill out a Needs Assessment, and develop a Restorative Action Plan unique to their specific situation. Plans can include a variety of classes; individual, group, or family counseling; parent education and support groups; and community service-learning opportunities or tutoring. The plan can range from a few short classes to several months of weekly counseling sessions, depending on what the needs assessment tells us about what will be of the most benefit. The Case Managers provide ongoing support to each participant to help them meet their goals.
Fighting Back Mentor Program- The CADA Mentor Program is a school-based program for vulnerable 3rd-8th grade students who need academic, emotional, and/or social support. Students are matched with trained, volunteer adult mentors and meet on campus 1 hour per week. Available to students in Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria, Santa Maria, & Lompoc.
Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT)- MDFT is an integrated, comprehensive, family-centered treatment for youth problems and disorders. MDFT focuses on key areas of the adolescent’s life and includes entire family in the interventions (sessions include Youth, Family, Parents, Community). MDFT addresses a range of youth problem behaviors – substance abuse, delinquency, antisocial and aggressive behaviors, school and family problems, and emotional difficulties. MDFT is currently offered in conjunction with our substance abuse treatment or as a stand alone service in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria.
