Support for Individuals with Disabilities. Promote independent living and full access for individuals with disabilities through advocacy, education and action in our communities.
In order to support an individual to live as independently as possible, ILRC provides individuals with tools and resources in the following areas: Housing, Personal Assistance, Interpreting, Peer Support, Assistive Technology, Youth Transition, and Advocacy.
Youth Transition Program - Learning about the possibilities out there early in life can increase independence. ILRC’s Youth Transition Program provides services specifically for students 14-24. Youth with disabilities are our future advocates! Our Youth transition program provides individual services, group mentorship training, and opportunities to attend leadership forums and events. We can also come to your school and provide disability communication, history, and pride trainings and presentations.
