#1 Mental Wellness Outreach - YouthWell is seeking high school or college students [ages 15-25] who have a passion for mental health and wellness. Multiple opportunities for community outreach and supporting the YouthWell team in the areas of program development, social media, digital marketing, and creative design. We also have opportunities to work on our online resource directory and help with website updates. Students will also have exposure to how Collaboratives work together towards change. Become a Brand Ambassador for mental health. Open year-round to parents & students (ages 12-25).
PRINT/VIEW: Brand Ambassador Volunteer Position.
SEND COVER LETTER: A. Why are you interested in becoming a Mental Wellness Brand Ambassador? B. How much, if anything, do you know about youth mental health in Santa Barbara County? C. Include whether you are [1] a student or parent, [2] are of SB County you live, [3] school you attend and grade if you are a student.
You are also invited to get involved with the COMPASSION PROJECT and pay it forward with "simple acts of kindness." The Compassion Project is focused on providing "simple acts of kindness". We want to involve parents in the conversation, train parent mentors, and offer nurturing gestures (ie: meal) that show you matter and someone cares.

YouthWell is working with our community partners to keep an updated list of Job Opportunities in Santa Barbara County related to behavioral health. Currently one of the challenges of getting services for youth is not having enough staff to fill the positions.
