How Mental Health Stigma within Families can cause Pain, Destruction, and Prevent Treatment and Recovery
Join us for a cross-cultural panel of African American, Latino, and White community members who will:
- share their thoughts on the ways in which stigma causes tragic disagreement in families and affects the lives of their mentally ill loved ones
- cover how stigma creates ruptures between parents and siblings, and other family members and friends, may even prevent loved ones from seeking out and/or benefiting from treatment
On Zoom and in-person at the Fellowship Club at the Mental Wellness Center, 617 Garden Street, Santa Barbara.
