Fentanyl & Overdose: How to Save a Life with Naloxone

Dr. Morgan Gatzlaff will discuss the properties, dangers and risks of opioids and fentanyl, and what substances should not be combined. She will also review the symptoms, mechanism of opioid overdose, harm reduction as well as the use of Naloxone in harm reduction.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be able to define opioids and opioid antagonists.
- Explain at least three risk factors for opioid use and overdose.
- Apply how to treat an opioid overdose using Naloxone
