Drop In Meditation: Practices for Cultivating Emotional Balance
Registered SBCC Students (including dual enrollment high school students) are welcome to connect with their inherent well-being, create fearlessness and remove confusion with this grounding meditation group.
Discussion and practices will be based on a powerful combination of western psychology and eastern Buddhist contemplative practices. This transformative material was created by a Buddhist monk and a psychologist and has a proven track record of improving attentional ability, insight, emotional stability, and resilience.
Each week will include a fluid combination of discussion and meditation to honor the specific needs of the student participants.
This in-person group at The WELL (ECC 21) will be facilitated by SBCC Personal Counselor, Liz Kelleher. The WELL is located across from the Basic Needs Center.
