Allan Hancock College’s Beyond Incarceration: Greater Education (B.I.G.E.) Student Club is hosting “We are the Ones We Have Been Waiting For”. Join for an afternoon highlighting formerly incarcerated and system-impacted experiences of transformation and inspiration. The event will include:
- Senator Monique Limon, serving Ventura and SB Counties
- Martin Levya, Program Coordinator of Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM)
- Workshop & Reflections by Ismael Huerta: “Paying It Forward with Compassion and Mindful Practices”
