Afternoon with the Abuelos

Afternoon with the Abuelos is a bilingual, intergenerational event for kids and older adults. This event is hosted at and in partnership with Carpinteria Children’s Project, with the support of Storyteller Children’s Center, Friendship Center and The Journey to Wellness Workshops.

ACTIVITIES:

  • talking about the joys of aging
  • working on a collaborative activity
  • sharing stories of growing up then and now
  • enjoying lunch and laughs
