We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. SUMMARY:TMHA’s Strike Out Stigma Bowl-a-Thon 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us to Strike Out Stigma!! \nIt’s time to grab 4 co-workers\, friends\, family\, or strangers to form a team and join in on the fun while raising money for mental health programs in our community. If you aren’t able to create a team\, please consider sponsoring a team from one of our wellness centers (Santa Maria or Helping Hands of Lompoc). All that’s needed to get in on the fun is $600 (for a team of 5)\, a team name\, and a willingness to have fun! No bowling skills are necessary at all (we promise not to laugh if you use the ramps or bumpers). This is a family friendly team-building event (yes\, kids can participate as well). You will get 2 rounds of bowling at one of the scheduled shifts (shoes included and even a pair of TMHA socks to take home as a souvenir)\, pizza\, and non-alcoholic drinks. DESCRIPTION:For teens affected by someone’s drinking or addiction. 3 available dates and locations: Sundays at Friendship Center\, Thursdays at SB High School\, and Fridays at DP High School. Alateen is for young people from 12 through 18. Alateen\, part of the Al-Anon Family Groups\, is a fellowship of young people whose lives have been affected by alcoholism in a family member or friend. We help one another by sharing our experience\, strength\, and hope.  ALATEEN CHAT… Chat live with other teens in any of the scheduled meetings!
