SUMMARY:Nature Group Therapy for Girls
DESCRIPTION:This group is for pre-teen girls\, ages 10-12\, who are looking for a group of supportive peers to process emotions\, learn coping skills for resiliency\, and connect back with nature. The female nervous system is wired for connection\, to tend and befriend. Our culture teaches girls to ignore their body’s rhythm. This is an opportunity for your child to connect with their power and embodied wisdom before entering into puberty. \nThemes: \n\nDecompress from the school day\nPractice coping skills\nBuild relationships\nEducation on the nervous system\nMindfulness\, play stories\, breathwork\nSmall group setting to encourage camaraderie\nConnect to nature\n\nWHEN: 8 week session from April – May 2025 every Friday\nWHERE: Location will be in nature in Santa Barbara\, CA and will be shared upon sign-up\nTIME: 4:00PM – 5:30PM \nSign up here!
