United Way of Santa Barbara County and the Carpinteria Children’s Project are bringing 2 free tax preparation events to Carpinteria. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program offers free tax help to local residents who make $67,000 or less annually. VITA Volunteers are IRS-certified. See the website for more information.
